Beloved, who is a Terrorist? -
What is Insurgency? – An organized
rebellion aimed at overthrowing a government.
What is militancy? – Engaging in
warfare or combat fighting for a cause or acting aggressively in the context of
guerrilla warfare.
The Boko Harams who have been
declared as the third most deadly terrorist group in the world are being
considered for reintegration by the Legislators in Nigeria.
This shows that those in authority
do not appreciate the threat which this terror group pose to the existence of
peace in Nigeria.
Boko Harams are an Islamic fanatical
group who unleash terror against any philosophy that is western, against Christians
and even Muslims who are moderate in their disposition.
You can imagine the mayhem that
will ensue If street auchings (Area Boys) in Lagos are furnished with AK47
Rifles in the same way youths who are members of Boko Haram in the North East of
the country are armed to pursue their dastardly acts.
Instead of the government setting
up intelligence units to investigate and cut off the source of the supply of
arms and ammunitions to these terrorists, they are now considering using tax payers’
money to pamper them notwithstanding the possibility that they may not be repentant.
That the Niger Delta Militants were
granted amnesty does not mean that the same method of quelling that uprising
applies to the situation in the North East region today.
It is now obvious that the government
is not taking the Boko Haram issue as seriously as it should and this may end
up bringing down the morale of our young gallant soldiers who are daily losing
their lives in a bid to defend their father land, by fighting these terrorists.
The United States Government realizing
the threat to the lives of the ordinary citizens of this West African sub-region
and to Humanity at Large, has placed a price of $7 million (Seven Million US Dollars)
on the head of the leader of the Boko Haram, Abu Muhammed Abubakar Bin Muhammad
al-Shelkawi also known by the alias Darul Akeem was Zamunda Tawheed or Darul
Tawheed).
The Nigerian Government has
failed to realize that this group is poised to overthrow the government and
should not be handled with “kids gloves” otherwise they will not be considering
reintegrating them.
The United States Government is
more realistic in their assessment of the situation in this sub-region compared
to our legislators in Nigeria who sit in comfort in their hallowed chambers,
passing bills which are not directed at the welfare of the common people of
this country.
Reintegration of Boko Haram
Terrorists is sleeping with “fire on the roof top”.
Our Legislators should realize that
this move is ill-conceived and should be avoided. A word is enough for the wise.
Shalom

God bless Africa,
God bless Humanity.
