FIGHT AGAINST POVERTY IN AFRICA

FIGHT AGAINST POVERTY IN AFRICA.

Beloved, poverty in Africa is an imposition of Africans especially the political elite. The elites who filled the vacuum created by the exit of our erstwhile colonial masters whip up ethnic tribal, sectional and religious sentiments to subjugate and oppress the poor masses in the land. They loot the treasuries when they are in positions of power and amass stupendous wealth that they can never spend in a lifetime. Their children are sent to schools abroad while the educational system on the continent is left to decay. When they need medical attention (before the worldwide lockdown of the Covid 19 Pandemic)they travel abroad while the healthcare system is in shambles on the continent. They intermarry their children to ensure that their solidarity is maintained.

In Nigeria, a civil war is currently looming because of whipped up ethnic sentiments which are apparently real  But in reality, the poor masses who will be the pawns in the game of chess and who will be used as footsoldiers if eventually the war breaks out, should close ranks and direct their aggression against the political elites who are rich and have everything in common.

The poor masses in Nigeria also have everything in common irrespective of their tribes or religious or seciional differences. They are the ones who ride okadas. The Hausa amongst them sleep under the bridge as Almajiris,, the Yorubas sleep under the bridge as Area boys or Alaye while the poor Ibo man sleeps under the bridge as Agbero..

Nigerians should be careful not to allow the agitation of an Ibo man who lives in the diaspora to cause the killing of an Ibo man in Katsina. Our problem is emphatically the unity of the elites and the disunity of the masses.

How many times have we taken our agitation to question our local government chairmen who with their staff receive salaries as idle workers with no visible improvement or development of our local government areas?

Why have you not agitated against that government official whose mansions you go to beg for help?

Why has there been no agitations against governors to ask them how they spent bail out funds?

It's very sad but true that all the past presidents love themselves, all the governors love themselves, all the government officials love themselves, all the senators and various members of the houses of assembly love themselves and all the looters love themselves.

Why can't we the masses love ourselves? Why can't we combine efforts to fight the elites? Why do we allow them to use us as tools to fight themselves? Why do we allow them the freedom we don't have?

,I believe a good and restructured Nigeria championing a United African States is better than a good Arewa, Oduduwa or Biafra. This we can achieve if we learn to love ourselves

A civil war in Nigeria in this era will take Africa many steps backwards into the depths of poverty needless bloodshed and negate the clamours for a UNITED AFRICAN STATE. This is a Clarion call to the masses to rise up and fight to ensure that the political Elites irrespective of the party to which they belong are forced to move to a two-bedroom apartment in their villages before the end of August 2021. The CREATOR is solidly behind the masses in their fight for the alleviation of poverty in Africa.

OLODUMARE says the fight is iñ the best interest  of all curreñt and future generations of Africañs.

Shalom.
