AFRICA, OH AFRICA

Beloved, it is disheartening that after over sixty years of political independence, a greater percentage of Africans are still wallowing in abject poverty.

THE POLITICAL TERRAIN

Admittedly the terrain has not witnessed much improvement since independence as our past colonizers threw us as "sheep to fight in the same boxing ring with lions", by giving us sovereignty and leaving us to compete with them on equal terms ,while in the real sense they continue to dominate us. The Berlin Partition of Africa about 136 years ago is still taking it's toll on the continent as Africans were given limited political freedom without the accompanying economic liberation.

The situation is so bad that an African State is required to convert her currency to the Dollar, Pounds,Euro Francs etc before she can trade with her neighboring country. To travel by air from an African state to the other requires your first going to Europe before being rerouted back to Africa.

The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank discriminate against Africa by charging interest rates as high as 9-10% on the same loan that they charge the developed countries as low as 1-1.5%..This is because the success of the World Bank & the IMF is based on the failure of Africa. The result is that Africa spends more than 30% of her GDP on loan repayment.

The same Berlin Partition created a situation in which the people of the same tribe and the same country find it difficult to communicate because they speak different foreign languages. (Another divide and rule tactics employed to keep us apart.)

Many multinationals operating on the continent do not pay taxes and most of them underreport the resources that they take out of the continent . The multinationals employ 75% of their workers from their country of origin.

Through the use of satellite, areas that are rich in mineral resources are identified and the neocolonialists supply arms and drugs to the youths in the areas to fight and chase away the inhabitants who more often than not do not know that they are sitting on a gold mine.and seize the opportunity to engage in illegal minning activities. 

The legacy of slavery, which is self hate caused by the brainwashing of  Africans can only be removed by understanding our history.

Between 2900BC-300BC Africa was the center of civilization. Most of the other nations came to Egypt for education. Civilization moved to the Greeks and the likes of Pluto, Socrates, Aristotle were the learned thinkers of their time. The Romans were next followed by the British and then America. Wherever education moved civilization followed, Africa can still be restored to her old glory.

PROJECT AFRIÇA MOVEMENT insists on Educational Revolution that will change the Educational Curriculum on the continent and make Eduçation available to both children and adults who desire but cannot afford it. Change in leadership of each country can not bring about any fundamental change as Africans need to strategize on breaking down the 1884 Berlin Wall that have exposed us to the divide and rule syndrome introduced to keep us perpetually dominated, conquered and defeated. 

A cheering note is that the French Parliament in June 2020.signed a law that freed African Countries from having to pay their Revenue into the Central Bank of France after about six decades of limited Independence.. 

Difficult as the political terrain is, a UNITED AFRICA can still make a breakthrough.. This is why,as ORUNMILA the messenger of OLODUMARE (the CREATOR), I'm calling on all Africañs to put away their differences and agigate for the urgent creation of a UNITED AFRICAN STATES ,

This is the only way we can overcome the post-Covid 19 hostile environment and ward off the predators that are already scheming for the recolonization of our MOTHERLAND
