AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF ORUNMILA/ DÉJÀ VU

Solomon Ayodeji Olugbenga Ogunmola OGUNJOBI (Deja Vu) was born into the family of Samuel Mofoloruñso Ogunjobi of Itakogun in Ilesa West Local Government and Eunice Olufolaju Ogunjobi nee Fagbemi of Oke Anaye in Ilesa on the 7th of March 1954. He started his primary education at St John's School Iloro Ilesa in January 1960 when his father was the Vice Principal of Ilesa Grammar School. The family moved briefly to Ondo in 1961.The movement was cut short by the death of their father (who was then a Çhief Inspector of Education).in August 1963. At Ondo, he briefly attended St Andrews primary School until the family moved to Ibadan afer the demise of their father.. In Ibadan, the family moved to their father's house at Olanipekun Street, Ososami Road. He completed his primary education at Ebenezer African Church School Oke-Ado, Ibadan. He was brought up along with his Senior brother as well as four other junior siblings by a great Philanthropist, the late Sir J W Olatunbosun, in whose house he lived from 1964 to the completion of his University Education at Ile-Ife in 1977. Deja Vu had his Secondary Education at Igbobi College Yaba between January 1966 and the time he left in Upper Sixth Science in August 1972 He was admitted for Preliminary Studies in Agriculture at University of Ife Ile-Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in September 1972. and Changed to Geology after his first year .When he failed Chemistry (a subject in which he had distinction at O'Level) he decided to change from Geology to the Social Sciences and on the advice of the late then Dean of the faculty,(Professor Igun) he studied Politics Philosophy and Economics.iñ which he graduated in 1977. He served at BCOS for his NYSC and was a school teacher for a year after his NYSC at Adelagun Memorial Grammar School Ibadan. In 1978, he joined the then Peat Marwick Casselton Elliot Chartered Accountants which later metamorphosed to KPMG and served as a trainee Accountant in their Offices in Lagos and Kaduna.. He joined the Nigerian Cocoa Board as the Ondo State Area internal Auditor and when the Board was scrapped he moved to International Brewery Ilesa through the assistance of another great Philanthropist Dr Lawrence Omole (who like Sir Olatunbosun)was a friend of his late father. It was at Ilesa that he got married and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 He continued his journey in life by coming back to Lagos where he worked as the Manager Finance and later in Credit and Marketing in Access Bank. It was at his second coming to Lagos that he and his family lived under the roof of another wonderful friend of his late father Chief Albert Olakunle Apara. Solomon Ayodeji Olugbenga Ogunmola OGUNJOBI is an Evangelist and an Assistant Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (The Lord's Portion Awoyaya) . In his desire to fulfil the mandate to unite the Body of Christ and to draw HUMANITY closer to the CREATOR (às commanded by OLODUMARE), his Evangelical Ministry led him to become an "Elder" with the Living Faith Church (aka Winner's Chapel) Magbon and a Congregant at Anglican Church of Transformation Abijo (ACOTA) Goshen Parish. People who played key roles in his life include Dr. Ezekiel Ifaturoti who retired at the top echelons of the Federal Ministry of Mines and Power,and formed Metals and Minerals Nig.Ltd Ilesa and his aunty Pastor (Mrs) Wunmi Ifaturoti who is married to the junior brother of Dr. Ifaturoti. One of his role models Elder Ayo Oni ( a former President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) deserves a worthy applause.
