PROJECT AFRICA UNLIMITED
A PASSIONATE CALL ON THE YOUTHS IN THE DIASPORA
Beloved, most of the African Youths in the diaspora
found themselves in foreign chimes either because their parents were frustrated
out of the African Society or because the youths themselves were denied
opportunities for gainful employment or fulfillment of their goals and aspirations
in life.
It is too late in the day to ask the parents of these youths who are in the age brackets of 55 years and above to relocate to Africa given the harsh economic, social and political environments on the continent. Nobody will want to sacrifice being comfortable in the latter part of life In the Diaspora for the hardship that exists in Africa all in the name of the love for the Motherland.
But Project Africa Unlimited is asking the youths in the Diaspora to look back at Africa with a view to ensuring that their own children and future generations to come can relocate home and not continue to exist as second class citizens and victims of racial discrimination. These can be achieved by making the environment at home more conducive to decent living.
We at Jameson Solomon Consults are offering the youths in the Diaspora the opportunity to go into joint ventures with the youths in Africa in a bid to improve and expand the economic and developmental frontiers of the continent.
We have lost confidence in the ability of Government in Africa to singularly play key roles in developmental issues and we totally believe that private sector-led initiatives are crucial to rapid economic development of the continent.
A few key developmental agencies of the continent
are relevant to achieving the actualization of our visions especially
developmental agencies such as African Development Bank (ADB), Development Bank
of Nigeria (DBN) etc. but total reliance on Government is abhorred.
Jameson Solomon Consults aspires to serve as a link between the youths in the Diaspora and young, competent, confident, educated and virile entrepreneurs of African descent who share our vision of making Africa the food basket of the fastest growing civilization that has ever existed.
The support of the elderly Africans both in Africa and the Diaspora who many not be able to actively participate in actualizing this vision will be highly appreciated. This they can do by encouraging their children to buy-in into the project or investing their assets in the achievement of the goals and aspirations of the Project.
We believe that Agro-industrial and natural resources investments in Africa, nay Nigeria as a step forward urgently require in addition to current efforts by various governments (Federal / States) and their agencies, focused, specific business-based interventions by African peoples and Diasporans to infuse capital technological expertise and investment in key areas. These interventions are required to:
i)Increase productivity and lift the current low input, low income,
largely subsistence level of productivity to a more modernized
technology-driven expertise promotion.
ii)
Expanded financial framework such as direct infusion of capital inflows
to create new or acquire existing infrastructure with the aim of modernizing
their operations and expanding the scope / level of activities. A risk-cover
for their operations could also be put in place to guarantee sustainable return
on investments AND
iii) Increased value addition especially in agro-processing hubs/clusters and corridors inclusive of natural resources exploitation and commodity exportations.
IT IS TIME FOR AFRICAN YOUTHS IN THE DIASPORA AND ALL OVER THE WORLD TO WAKE UP AND TAKE THEIR DESTINY IN THEIR HANDS.
The Future belongs to the Youths.
Harambe!!!
God Bless Africa.
