NAKED YOU CAME, NAKED YOU WILL RETURN

Living Life with Antoine: Naked You Came. Naked You Shall Return

NAKED YOU CAME, NAKED YOU WILL RETURN.

Beloved, discrimination, cronyism, miseducation and corruption are major banes to societal development worldwide.
Discrimination could be as a result of race, tribe, class, religion or other evolutionary divides which form the basis for distribution of resources in the society.

MISEDUCATION:
In Nigeria, backwardness and stagnancy with regards to societal development is mostly due to religious, tribal and class differences all cushioned on the fact that the greatest number of the population are illiterate or miseducated.
The South of the country which produces the greatest number of the educated elite in the country, swallows the larger portion of the bitter pill of discrimination as they are sidetracked by the core North who have the greatest number of the decision-making political elites.

It is this frustration that has resulted in the brain drain and atrophy faced by the country as the vibrant and educated youths seek greener pastures in foreign climes. This has also encouraged square pegs being placed in round holes. The resulting dissatisfaction and other issues, is the persistent clamour for the restructuring of the polity or outright dissolution of the inequitable union.

GOVERNANCE::
Most of those who find themselves in positions of authority are so myopic and greedy to the extent that they only think of feathering their nests along with those of their kith and kin at the expense of society.
Most people in governance attended schools but they are not educated, hence they are antisocial and anti progress in behavior.
The selfless commitment and visionary leadership of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo who played a great role in the educational development of the Southwest, is a typical exemplar worthy of emulation by all hoping to lead the society to greatness.

EDUCATION
There is an urgent need for a revolution in the falling and failing educational standard. We produce graduates who are barely literate in the true sense of the word. We need and should produce, as we used to do, graduates that can stand their own grounds, compare favourably with their peers world-wide, earn substantial foreign exchange income from training foreign students in Nigeria and attract international scholars of repute to join our researchers to break grounds in all disciplines. We should at this END TIME  create opportunities for all Africañs who earnestly desire education but cannot afford to pay. This is what led to the CREATOR giving the Vision of EUNICE & SAMUEL MOFOLORUÑSO OGUNJOBI MEMORIAL OPEN LEARNING CENTER Ilesà to yours truly,

The first phase of the Learning Center in Ilesa will focus on Àgriçulturàl Settlements with a view to ensuring that Nigeria becomes the food basket of Africa. A huñgry man is an angry man. There is an urgent need to lower the current soaring cost of food items all over the continent.

BUDGETING:
A sizable portion of the country's annual budget should be allocated to education, health and agricultural development. This is the basic path to Africa's greatness. There should be a drastic downward review of the cost of governance in terms of what we are currently spending on the Executive and Legislative arms of government.

CORRUPTION:
Corruption can also be impeded if those in power are SIDETRACKED since they can not develop the mindset that wealth falsely acquired at the expense of society brings no long-term benefits, but destruction, to them, their heirs and the nation. It is even more serious when such looted funds are stashed in foreign banks as the funds will only be available to develop the foreign economy while this country sinks deeper into poverty.
Many politicians and their cronies steal amounts that are so outrageous that they need to be referred to psychiatrists to have their heads examined. E.g. General Sanni Abacha of Nigeria and Mobutu Sese Seko of Congo Kinshasa and many members of the Political Elites and their stooges.
Nobody takes anything to the grave, because NAKED YOU CAME, NAKED YOU WILL RETURN. The good deeds that a man does lives after him.

Let us all seek the face of OLODUMARE the CREATOR (especially in this period of global pandemic) to concretize the establishment of HIS kingdom on Earth
