AFRICA, THE JEWEL OF INESTIMABLE VALUE

Beloved, whoever underestimates the awesome power of the CREATOR in the affairs of men stands to be blamed.

OLODUMARE has patiently kept a watch on His own especially during this  perilous times by stretching HIS protective arms on Africa, despite the prevalent poor health care delivery service on the continent.

Our political elite now face the naked truth of their folly in abandoning the improvement of the domestic health care delivery system in preference for travelling to foreign countries for treatment of ailments as negligible as common cold.

These elites and their kith and kin as well as some foreigners were the index cases for the ingress of Covid 19 virus into Africa. God is particularly interested in Nigeria as HE in HIS wisdom has so far protected the vast majority of the people of this populous country. The morbidity due to the pandemic had largely been elitist because of international interactions as they had majorly imported the dreaded virus into Nigeria and refused to adhere to laid down procedures for handling it. While not rejoicing at the demise of another man, I make bold to say that there is a Divine intervention in the affairs of this great black nation.

There is an urgent need for citizens of Nigeria to reorganize and take  bold steps towards the achievement of the much touted RESTRUCTURING immediately (NOW). This issue may be a fait accompli as the income of the country had been badly affected by the state of the international oil price and the worldwide Covid 19 pandemic.

We already have enough of this country being run as the private estate of the ruling elite class.
On the Continental scene, the CREATOR has also been kind enough to give Africa a good excuse to rescue herself from another round of colonization. This is by giving the Continent an opportunity to insist on debt cancelation during this Covid 19 Pandemic Lockdown. Indeed some African leaders like the Tanzanian President had started reviewing contracts and agreements that were skewed against the interests of his country.

It is now up to other African leaders to unite under the umbrella of the African Union (AU) to jointly insist on the release of Africa from her debts . There is no way the Continent can survive after this worldwide pandemic if this and other measures are not implemented.

Africa is blessed with abundant natural and human resources. This is why the more developed economies of the world keep focussing their exploitative attention on the Continent.

What we need are patriotic, selfless and visionary leaders who will eschew greed and parochialism and are ready to transform the Continent  to the next level without care for their material comfort.
Africa is still the "Jewel of Inestimable Value" to the rest of the world. If we play our çards right, we may end up being the most sought after investment destination at this END TIME.
