AFRICA AT THIS END TIME"

AFRICA AT THIS END TIME"

Beloved, by the time the ongoing lockdown with it's accompanying economic meltdown is over, there is bound to be a change in the world order, with China emerging as the new"Senior Prefect".
If this change does not wake up African Leaders from their slumber, then nothing else will.
The policy documents of the two world leaders China and America does not focus on Africa but on the interest of their citizens and the future of their countries.
If we don't wake up,in another 3 years the Chinese will control the oxygen we need to breathe in Africa. It should be noted that the Chinese are in the process of constructing an artificial sun, that will produce temperatures higher than our natural sun.
I keep wondering what happened to our Engineering graduates when we use Chinese Engineers to construct our Roads, Airports and install solar street lights. Our oil will soon become irrelevant as the US looks inward to its Shale Oil and China embraces electric vehicles.
We, Africans, must insist on producing the batteries that will power the future electric vehicles here to be exported to China as a finished product. This is because the bulk of the mineral resources required for battery production are mined from Africa (Mali, Congo etc) mostly illegally, by foreign miners.
The Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) should form the basis for negotiation with China as 52 separate countries can not get an equitable deal if they negotiate on individual basis.
We need a single African Currency;(the AFRO) since the world currency battle will begin after the lockdown as China and Russia are determined to overthrow the US Dollar domination. A single African Currency will help tremendously to straighten the African economy by enabling stronger ties if we trade through a unified African market.
We are at the verge of the 4th Industrial Revolution open to all races. African youths are hungry yet competent enough, to compete with their Chinese and American counterparts provided we make the right investment in infrastructure. There is an urgent need to set up Artificial Industrial Parks across Africa and fund them adequately.
Africans must insist on fair and equitable trade deals henceforth with China, as the latter's monopoly of global supply chain has caused a huge disequilibrium which does not encourage peaceful coexistence.
If we permit China to produce everything we need, African leaders should scrap all our Tertiary Institutions without delay as our labor market will not be able to absorb our University and Polytechnic graduates.
African Union (AU) must insist on China writing-off the African debt this year. This is the only way African economies can survive as there is no way the Continent can get  annual interest to pay after the lockdown caused by China.
After this Africa should stop borrowing and should desist from going cap-in-hand looking for aid from the advanced countries as Africa has enough resources to build a modern civilization without borrowing or begging for aid. After all, China neither borrowed nor begged for aid to develop and grow her economy.
Africa's greatest strength lies in the Economic and Technical know-how of the blacks in the Diaspora. Africa should plan to build at least seven modern cities to accommodate her citizens in the Diaspora & incentivize them to return home. After all, the Jews in the diaspora planted the seed of the development of Israel, the Chinese in the diaspora contributed tremendously to the development of modern China and the Indians in the diaspora, especially the ones in the US spearheaded the Technological Revolution in India.
A recent research revealed that Chinese now love to go on vacation abroad with a projected expenditure of billions of dollars in 2022 on this item alone.
African countries should target taking 60% of the tourism money from China by building modern amusement parks across the continent and modernising other enabling infrastructure accordingly.
As Africans, we need leaders who can think and be proactive to stop another round of Colonialism at this END TIME.
