Beloved, the effects of slavery, colonialism, mental laziness and servitude that afflicted Africans have had so much toll on our political elites in such a way that their thoughts is being controlled outside this continent. They do not have a mind of their own.
They have been incapable of generating an Afro-Centric philosophy based on the welfare and progress of Africans and Blacks all over the world. For how long shall we blame foreigners for our continued self afflictions?
For example, when they want to buy cars they choose exotic ones that the manufacturers hardly use in their own countries except for films and advertising. The cars when imported, hardly last because of the state of our roads. When they want to go on holidays they patronize resorts outside Africa instead of within the continent where they will be closer to nature and prevent the outflow of valuable foreign exchange. Decisions are made without regard to Economics, thrift, beneficial considerations and developmental outcomes.
Their thinking is controlled from Europe, America, Saudi Arabia, Asia etc. Instead of training their children in educational institutions locally, they prefer foreign institutions without considerations for the final applications of such training while our local educational institutions are allowed to decay. The sad effect, is that, it is the Nigerian people which make up more than 98 per cent of the population that bear the brunt of this brainwashing and blind leadership.
It is time, our political elites started having a re-think about putting the interest of the common man before their myopic interests.
How long will the masses of this country remain docile and allow the nation to be raped into penury? Enough is Enough.
