Beloved, religious bodies have been
playing on the fears of Africans and milking them with only a few of them
giving back to society. Most of them that invest in the development of human
capital, do so with a view to making profit. Therefore, the common man does not
benefit. IT’S TIME FOR PAYBACK. Churches, Mosques and other Worship Centers with Internet Facilities(all over Afriça) are hereby DECREED to register prospective students between the ages of 6-70 years who earnestly desire
education but can not afford it as students of EUNICE and SAMUEL MOFOLORUÑSO OGUNJOBI MEMORIAL OPEN LEARNING CENTERS to be cited in 7(seven) campuses on the Continent two of which will be in Zimbabwe and Uganda with the Headquarters of the Leà rniñg Center in Ilesa , Ijesaland Osun State Afriça.
Christianity came into existence after the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The early church were called Christians because they were united as one body of believers and they mirrored Christ.
What do we have today more than 2000 (Two Thousand) years
after? The Body of Christ has been fragmented into pieces; broken into different
denominations, all in a bid for the different heads of the denominations to
feed their egos and to amass wealth. This has led to proliferation of churches.
In the name of Salvation, they hoodwink unsuspecting
believers and feed on their fears. They make
them believe that they are leading them to Christ instead of teaching them that
they already have direct access to the CREATOR through the shedding of the
blood of Christ on the cross at Calvary.
They create super-heroes out of themselves, giving
the poor believers the false impression, that they are spiritually superior to
them therefore they need their prayers to be saved.
The truth of the matter is that every individual on
earth has the opportunity of a one-on-one relationship with the CREATOR. Nobody
needs a human intermediary to relate with God. Within each of us is a Divine
spark which if inflamed draws us closer to the Almighty God. The Church of God
today has become Cash collecting centres. At each meeting, they collect as
many offerings as they can justify.
They milk the unsuspecting poor believers to pay
offerings à nd tithes out of which they indulge in Cathedralism-building gigantic auditoria,
while Many members of their congregation do not have homes of their own. The Heads
of the denominations live in affluence, especially in Africa and the Third world,
while many members of the congregation live in abject poverty.
Instead of focusing on building people to become
self-reliant, they play on their fears and extort the poor believers making
them to become docile and dependent on the belief that the more they sacrificially
give to the church, the more of God’s Blessing they will receive.
As a result, the church has contributed immensely to
the exploitation of the masses by the political elite in Africa and the Third
world. Some of the church leaders, in a
bid to increase their popularity, cooperate with the ruling elite, by
encouraging their members to support the fake Democratic set-up, which is alien
to our culture especially in Nigeria nay Afriça.
The same can be said of the Islamic religion which
has been fragmented into various denominations, all in a bid for the leaders of
each sect to amass wealth and also feed their ego. Religion as a whole, rather than contribute to the
growth and development of the Human race, has become a source of Friction, Insurgency, attrition, poverty, wars, lack and divisions in societies worldwide.
There is an urgent need in this NEW DISPENSATION to step down, the issue of
which denomination or religious sect we belong, and focus on how we can through
prayers and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for one another, draw closer to the CREATOR by so doing bringing peace, prosperity and harmony to Humanity.
